Sound Waves

Sound Waves is a group of intermediate 7th and 8th grade treble voices. This group provides performance opportunities and competitions aimed at preparing students for the next level. Outside of class rehearsals will be minimal but required. Ample notification will be given for all concerts, rehearsals, and activities. Excused absences for performances and rehearsals are due two weeks prior to the event or earlier. 

This choir participates in three McAuliffe concerts, District Choral Festival, Show Choir Competition, and performs at Knott’s Berry Farm. Along with these performance opportunities, all students will receive a choir t-shirt, a formal costume, sheet music, choreography, clinics, and bussing to required events.  We ask for a suggested donation to cover the cost of these expenses not covered by the school.  

Participation Donation for Sound Waves = $345

• Pay in full by September 1 for a $20 discount — $325
• Pay in full after September 1 — $345
• Four monthly payments of $86.25
• Scholarship/Financial assistance available upon request
